So its been a while since I've posted anything on here. better late than ever huhh, so anyway back to the topic in hand, a week ago I was sitting in a lecture hall listing the history of computer games. A topic which i found confusing in a course mainly revolving around the art, I (as it turns out) was wrong a recurring theme in this blog.

Anyway I'm getting off topic here in this short space I will go through the history of computer games well actually these key points the first being the fake facade on which the impression of the industry being all male is simply not true. I point I will show you is during the 2nd world war, specifically the cracking of the enigma code. And yes i know that the technology may not be considered beneficial to computer game purists but I will continue. the mathematics behind the enigma machine was solved not by men but but the talented women up and down the country however the sad and annoying fact is that very few of the women are pictured in photographs and even less are remembered.

Sad isn't it, keep following the post's for more reads like this the nest one will be about the success and failure of selected designs throughout the history of computer games and computers.
